Do NOT just haphazardly submit your website everywhere, it can be a waste of time and money. You want to use The Best Directories for SEO which include in this order: DMOZ.org (this one is free but difficult to get into), Yahoo Directory (dir.yahoo.com), Business.com, and BOTW.org.
